Museum trip today with Auntie Jan and Uncle James. We had a wander together, lunch and then they went to see the Mummy exhibition and we continued to explore. Part of this exploration included a trip to the toilet for Mummy but whilst she was attempting to lock the door Amelie managed to pull the disabled alarm, halting Mummy in her tracks! I had told her not to touch anything but of course she never listened. I waited outside for someone to arrive to 'help' me but nobody came so I just discreetly left. I wasn't going to risk going to the toilet only to be 'rescued' moments later.
Anyway, Amelie had an amazing time at the museum and I only wish we lived nearer for her to be able to get lots of use out of it, as I once did. The new children's bits are aimed at about 5-6 year olds that didn't hold Amelie back at all. She enjoyed seeing all the animals as well and I had to bribe her out of the telephone box so another little girl could have a shot.
Auntie Jan and Uncle James were staying in town so we went and got the bus home, upstairs and front seat of course so we could drive the bus! We popped into Grans on the way back as the bus didn't go up the hill and ended up waiting for my Mum to pick us up on the way home as we didn't have a buggy and Amelie was exhausted.
