Scarey fairways

Played golf here today in the hills on the first day of our holiday. It very tight on the fairways - not what I needed - however I saw a lot of wild black olives when I wasn't hitting the ball straight. All the grass around the fairways was scorched and very dry which made the course look a bit like patchwork. Strangely enough we were told they had snow here 3 days ago which I find amazing. The first in the region since 1970! Thank goodness it was warmer today, although when the sun went away there was a chill.
