Little and Large

Got to work from home today (2nd time this week!) so had chance to walk the dog at lunchtime.

Walked across local fields near Nuneaton and spotted this pair of trees that I hadn't noticed before. Thought the large old gnarled tree alongside this new growth at the side of the path a nice comparison.

Had my G10 again so no filters or tripod. This was taken handheld as 3 shots using bracketed exposures at 100ASA about as wide as possible (although the final image is cropped top and bottom). Run as an HDR through photoshop so I got a full tonal range in both ground/tree and the sky and then converted to mono.

Back in the office again tomorrow lashed to my pc no doubt :(
