Heavy weather
These clouds, directly overhead, were changing formation so quickly that with the camera set to multi-shot, each one was quite different.
As I was taking this shot the first raindrops began to fall, and at exactly 16h30 the heavens opened up for what a fellow South African blipper reminded me the other day was a 'Staatdiensreentjie', the typical highveld rains which came just as everyone was leaving work.
In those days not everyone owned a motor vehicle and not all office blocks had underground parking, so with umbrellas raised or raincoats on we had to make our way through the wet streets to either the bus stop or the train station to get transport home
