Snow in the desert?

Now this may look like a typical UK winter scene...but oh no. This is snow in the hills of Jordan. We got caught in snow showers en route to Petra. I woke up to sunshine on a boat in Tala Bay and a couple of hours later was in a mini bus in a blizzard!

Fortunately, we got to Petra and back safely. Thankfully, there was no snow once we'd descended into the other valley, however it was still very cold, but worth it. Petra is spectacular! The rock cut architecture is incredible. Definitely worth a visit.
