Double trouble coming my way.....

Today has been quite a nice day.... a day all by myself...
It feels like years since I've had alone time, there's always someone hanging onto my coat tail!... It's not a bad thing, it's nice to have a close knit family but some days I just hanker for the days of being a house wife with alone time when kids are at school and everyone is at work and I can just get lost in my own head space...
Nowadays it's all work, or controlling a demanding puppy or being surrounded by messy teanagers, or parents, or trying to fit in with hubbys plans!
It's easy to lose your sense of self sometimes....

Started the day with my hospital appointment, I'm now sporting 2 lovely bruised arms... they never seem to get blood on their 1st try with me!
Good news is I now have a date for my operation... April 2nd...eeeek!! I've been armed with leaflets with all the info, most of it I'd rather not be told... nerves are setting in now!

Then I went to see my tattooist... my surprise drawing was ready... so I'm now booked to get started with that on Sunday..... nerves are setting in! lol.

On the way home I stopped at Duddingston Loch at the bottom of Arthurs Seat.. it was beautiful, sun shining and surrounded by ducks,geese and swans... a great way to find my own head space...

It was like a different day by the time I got home to take Sammy his walk.... just about had my nose frozen off my face!!... Then we got caught in a hail storm!...
Good old Scottish weather!!....
