Rain, rain, rain

Another rainy day - there are floods in the western part of Flanders. Stayed inside tonight and finished the Dutch translation of the prose Edda. This is a manual for 13th century Scandinavian poets. Of course there are stories in the book, but only basic ones. The greater part of the book is devoted to technique. No smooth read, but a fascinating window onto the past nevertheless.
