An unfortunate Road trip

when i first moved here approx 18months ago i lived with a work colleague for the frst 6 months in two different houses and she became a bit of a mother figure for me especially as i knew no-one, and she still is now however last week she ended up in hospital due to having stroke like symptons, i won't go into the detail but it was both scary and out of the blue. It now turns out it was a virus not a stroke so she will recover fully however until tomorrow she is still in the hospital so three of us (she calls her adopted daughters) went to see her tonight. The Hospital was an hour away from work so we stopped for a cheeky Mcdonalds on the way. I haven't had a Maccy Ds in ages and to be honest i know why, they put so much mayonaise on the burgers it doesn't taste of anything else but the chips and vanilla milkshake..you just can't beat!
