Pheasant

Still studying today and will be for the next few days, before working on assignment..

Once again a cold wet windy day until 1500 hours. At that time the clouds thinned and we had intermittent sunshine; time to look for a blip! Nothing to be seen, flowers closed animals in hiding and birds still in their nests. Then as I was beginning to despair along came a male pheasant; great, but the wrong lens. Got the right lens; battery too flat to focus this one. Replaced battery, pheasant still there, point camera at him and he is attacked by two magpies and flies off; no photo. Ten minutes passes and his mate walks up providing today's Blip.
