Casting a Cloot

I've spent my day off mostly indoors, the rain just kept on coming down outdoors.

I have read some of my book, 'The Graveyard Book' by Neil Gaiman, which I am enjoying. Apparently it is a children's book. I like a lot of books that are allegedly for children.

I have caught up with friends during long telephone conversations.

I have made a vegan banana and chocolate chip cake. (Mr H will be pleased.)

I've done some washing.

I did manage a walk and the sun came out and made the hawthorn blossom all sparkly and lovely. I thought of the 'old wives tale' of 'not casting a cloot, 'til May is oot', I'll not be relinquishing my clothes any time soon, it is only March, after all.
