Two carvings spotted on one of the houses whilst walking through the hamlet of Ryecroft with Jeanneb53 today.

Does anybody know what they are - I reckon they are too pretty to be gargoyles - and had no joy on google

We set off from the village climbed to the moor and walked across to Ryecroft and then back home via Ryecroft graveyard.

Dead good walk!
