Cocooned...

... like the Cicada in Sunday's Blip. This is an old sewing machine of mine, cocooned since about 2003. It's a free-arm Pfaff walking foot and can quite easily sew your fingers together. Really good for getting into those tight spots like cave pack bases. I bought it from a friend of a friend in 1994 in National Park, up in the North Island, driving through from one place to another. Spotted it sitting in a barn, gathering dust.

How much? Bargain.

Now it's under the stairs at work, gathering dust again, but not for long.

Soon to be it's on its way to Nelson and a classroom of teenagers learning about sewing. Mind your fingers.
