I love lilies, they are my most favourite flower in the whole world. Mr G decided to treat me to a bunch this evening .. lucky me!

I decided to try something a little different tonight, I love photos with a shallow depth of field, but I decided to close down my aperture to the smallest it would go so that I got the entire plant in focus - I like it. I will definitely start to use this method for still life images from now on. I was balancing the plant on a chair so the background has been captured within the image but, it's not that bad really ..

Camera Mode M - WB Auto - 2 softbox setup 50% power
