Backblip Honeymoon Day 5

Had to get up far too early today to get our transfer to Mexico. Left the hotel around 4, passing the ever-present gamblers as we went. There were even slot machines in Las Vegas airport, just in case you hadn't lost enough money.

We tranferred to Phoenix with the extremely unhelpful US Airways, then caught the plane to Cancun. Nice to arrive into the warmth and bright sunshine.

The journey to Tulum was just over an hour of very boring road. Completely straight and completely bordered by rainforest - occasionally broken up by hotel entrances. We were greeted at our hotel with cold towels and champagne - start as you mean to go on! Were too tired to do much apart from eat at the buffet restaurant, World Cafe, took this very quick panic blip and crashed out.
