inspired by filtered sunlight

Our house sits on a hill, with a southerly outlook and lakeland hills all around us. We enjoy the views but when the sun shines, the light in our living room is overwhelming. Our new vertical blinds solved the problem. Choosing a colour proved controversial, but I love our ultimate choice. The subtle shades of salmon pink and the shadowy stripes thrown onto the furniture give me great pleasure.
