Memories

Had a bonus day with my girl today (she's much better but had to stay off school because of puking policy) so we headed off for a wander in the woods. Haven't done this very much since we moved house and traded the woods for the beach! I'll always associate these woods with my dear mate Lou, we used to bring our girls here all the time when they were little to feed the ducks and squirrels, have picnics, climb trees, fall in muddy puddles etc. It was lovely to be back in the place where we shared so many happy times, to hear Bella chatting away about her memories of Lou, reminding me of funny things that happened that I'd forgotten all about. I'm so glad she still remember her. Came home feeling all sort of warm and fuzzy and very thankful for happy memories :)
