Sad News from Denmark!

R jr received real bad news today, sadly more than 3 months after it occurred!

Our dear friends, whom I wrote about last year on R's birthday, quote: 'There were só many surprises during the day! The really almost impossible surprise was when his great buddy from Denmark, Sydney, turned up late this afternoon with his parents! By golly, can you imagine that!? Syd is sleeping over here tonight, his parents booked in to a local Guest House, and will fetch him early tomorrow morning, they are leaving for Zambia from Johannesburg International Airport on the 11:00 flight. The parents are working in Ndola, Zambia, doing Aids counselling and support and supplying patients with ARV's, donated by Denmark!, had the most unthinkable thing happening to them on 30 November 2011!! Sydney's dear dad died in a car accident in Zambia, where he did so much to uplift the people there! Read more about it here.

Sydney's mom moved back to Denmark, their lives had been turned upside down, may Rene's soul rest in peace and his dear wife and only child come to terms with this tragedy by the grace of God! Our hearts go out to them!
