Out on a limb...literally

This is Jose making his "throw" it's when we have a prusik (the small cordellete rope on the cable) attached to a wench so we can put tension on the cable. We pretty much lay completely out and go out into open space in order to make it long enough. It is kind of scary, especially when we are up over 50+ feet ( was doing that last week).

Just another great part of the job! Hope you're day was good. It snowed all day and my hands got quite frigid, however, I enjoyed looking at the flakes land on my jacket and notice their unique design!
