Yo ho, grains ahoy! I think it's about time that I got a camera that didn't completely die in low light - this one only goes to 1600ISO and has a good habit of making the photo look as if it was taken though static.

Failed to get out of bed (for some reason lie-ins are almost better than sleep) so missed my tutorial, but the back that it's so damn boring and I hadn't done the required reading didn't encourage me further. Amazingly sunny day, so after geomorphology I sat in the square with my lunch and listened to the radio.

Popped into the international office to see about my applications to Canada and Spain to study abroad - I've decided that I'd much rather go to Santander, in Spain than Canada - they give you a huge grant, for a start, not to mention the fact that flights cost about a 10th of the price, and I'd learn Spanish. They say I'll most likely know by the end of the week. Fingers crossed!

Lucas came over this evening, and picked up my old and battered guitar and made it sing. Made me want to put some effort in, so I've promised myself to learn this as soon as my fingers will let me.

Also watched 'hard candy', very weird film. Not sure I liked it.
