Tynemouth at night
Well, it was a GOOD IDEA at the time.
Looking for the pretty lights in Whitley Bay but trying to view them from the South Shields side, as we just couldn't quite be bothered going through the tunnel blah, blah, blah.
One of the group thought that this may be the last night to view them, but it may have been another night. others weren't sure, still more others weren't interested in going anywhere and final group of others wanted to go to annoy second group of others, and to 'rub it in' to maximum effect.
Generally most of the group at large needed the reassurance of constant squabbling with themselves over this unplanned, unprepared for excuse of a jaunt around 'the middle of no-where' Clearly there was a lack of research done before launching into GOOD IDEA mode and a much more productive time could be spent at home doing well 'not a lot'.
Still not often that we drive around aimlessly at night looking for places we don't know, driving on roads we wouldn't even recognise in the day-time.
Did we see anything interesting...
Well a working lighthouse. Interesting, a bit.
But otherwise, No not really, this is a night-time view (on the never to be repeated on any other night in the future for whatsoever the reason, so making the most of this once in a lifetime opportunity) of probably a, well pretty bland piece of the Tyne but who knows it's hard to tell as it's dark.
Hoping to catch the Tyne and bridge at some point in the future. (probably in the DAYTIME seems to be the consensus)
