The Watering Hole...Denied
So we didn't operate on Addie today. The x-ray showed that the plastic thing in her gut has moved on a little and is probably in the large intestines now. She was also a little more perky this morning and so far today she is holding her own. Hopefully she manages to keep the wet dog food down. Fingers crossed. I don't want her to be opened if at all possible.
However, she also cannot have any water. The vet did give her a saline IV to tie her over for a day or two, and the wet dog food is 80% water so that helps. Of course none of that helps quench Addie's thirst. She's staking out the toilets in the hope that some one doesn't remember to close the lid! Poor girl. At least she's walking around today.
Back to my Honey-do list... Have a great weekend.
