The Goldmine nightclub, Canvey Island. Originally The Bay Country Club, as you can see, but this place became Mecca (no, not a bingo hall) for clubbers from far and wide in the 70's and early 80's.

It really was special. I just can't even begin to explain how important it was so I won't.
