It didn't rain all day today :) Yippee!

After watching our fill of the Olympics we finally made it out to the beach. Rowan was playing at a friends house, so it was just Murron and Sam. Murron was in fantastically high spirits and leapt about full of energy. The first thing she said this morning was 'I feel like going for a long walk.' After a week of rain and indoor play at school I think she was ready for some fresh air and exercise. On the way to the beach we stopped off a Knowes Farm and bought a goodly quantity of greengages (one of my most favourite fruit.) I plan to make some jam, if I haven't eaten them all by tomorrow....
