Petronas Towers, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

A busy and successful day of meetings and a school visit.

In the evening, we got the LTR (Malaysia's tube system) into the heart of KL to see the tallest twin buildings ever built (the title of tallest building has now been taken by Burj Khalifa, Dubai in 2010; Taipei 101 took the crown from Petronas Towers in 2004). An impressive building indeed. Inside, there is steel and art deco lettering. I like that it is based on motifs from Islamic art, and a reflection of Malaysia's Muslim region.

And I got to sample some Malay cuisine - nasi lemak - very tasty!
