Meet Matty

Rowan informs me that his penguin is called Matty...or should that be Mattie? Either way, say it in a Scouse accent!

Today has been lovely. Bright skies, sunshine....the kind of day that makes you want to do something!

Rowan had a schoolfriend around for tea. There were four of them on the trampoline and Rowan ended up with an accidental football in the mouth (at least it wasn't the other shed window!!). He has split the fleshy part which holds the inside of the lip to the top of the gum. Fairly cringeworthy, I know! Ouch!! Of course, I said he was fine and sent him back outside!! Now he is retiring to bed with a penguin.

Lewis lost a tooth today and asked why we don't keep getting new teeth throughout our lives...God, if you're listening...
