Today was a grey sort of day. The day when the sun doesn't shine and people don't smile.

They don't do they? When the sun hides, the smiles hide too.

But not for me today....

I met my friend for lunch - we chatted, we laughed and we certainly smiled.

We went together to visit her loved ones who had recently lost a loved one. I was a face from a long time ago but I was met with the same smiles and warmth that I had been given a long time ago.

Time didn't matter when smiles were shared.
