Rubberneckers

I spent much of the day at the Focus on Imaging event in Birmingham today. The absence of Pentax and Adobe made it less interesting than it might have been, but with new SLRs from Canon, Nikon and Olympus it was fun to browse the stands and play with the toys.

Not everyone seemed interested in the gear though. The Olympus stand particularly seemed to have an endless supply of models and dancers (including some big names) leading to a mass of people that were just interested in photographing the folk on the runway. At least it looks like this time around one person was using the stand's brand of camera...
