Discombobulation

A lovely early morning walk and then I called upon my Mum and Dad. They're having new central heating put in and all the ancient radiators are being ripped out.

This would be an upheaval for anybody, but they have so much stuff - books, tapes, papers and other... well, let's call them objets d'art... It was a bit of 'Blitz spirit' situation - they were sitting there with the fire lit, eating soup and surrounded by piles of stuff and dust and men working around them.

The picture is of a tiny piece of central heating pipe that I took a fancy to on my way out. I have put it on my mantelpiece and added it to my collection of objets...
