The big catch.

We stopped at the Exeter Travel Lodge on the way to Cornwall, and visited one of our favourite little towns, Topsham.
Situated on the river Exe. It has some lovely old buildings, and excellent small shops. ( No Next, or M&S in site!) Each shop is unique.
Had an evening meal in a little cafe/wine bar that serves food only on Friday and Saturday evenings.
Everything freshly cooked. The young waiter came to the table with a note book and read off the half a dozen items on it.
I had the moules and chips, Mr C had a beef and red wine casserole, then Danish apple pie to follow. All delicious!
