One of my favourite views in the whole world...

..when you turn off State Highway 2 between Katikati and Waihi towards Athenree and I look past Dave's lovely profile to Shelly Bay and Anzac Bay. Dave's parent's place is another 5 mins up the road. This view = holiday!

Unfortunately the tide was out and really, I should have stopped the car but we were keen to be there.

Day one of my holiday. I flew to Tauranga in the morning and Dave met me there with the car at the end of his cycling tour of the East Cape.
