Focus'd

Well, today was the day the new car arrived, so what else could it be!

The joy of todays arrival as completely obliterted though, with the announcement that two more of my colleagues were made redundant by a management team hell bent on buying in a new department rather than training the existing staff. For those of us not trained in the new system every month could bring more news.

As a result legacy support has just lost another member of the 24/7 support team so no doubt we will be expected to pick up the slack there too.

I can't understand why luxuries such as this can continue while people are losing their jobs and (while I'd bitch like hell about it) I'd give it up in an instant if I thought it would help keep a jab safe. However, I know that that's not the way these things work and while people's careers and life's can be turned upside down so easily... well, you know!
