Well trodden

We are very lucky to have a densely wooded park within a block of our house. So are everyone in this neighborhood and one neighborhood over and one neighborhood over and one more neighborhood over. And what's not to love about the snowy woods and tolerable temperatures; it is no wonder that everyone's been out.

The trails aren't very icy right now either, they're crunchy and easily navigated. If you go off the trails, it's even better; the footprints change to those of all the critters that inhabit the woods, down to tiny mice prints that meander around stumps and twigs and then suddenly disappear into a small hole in the snow. The woods is a busy place.

And look, here it is 5:20pm and the sun is still high in the sky.
