night lights

I thought I wouldn't find a blip today having spent time painting walls. I was just closing the curtains when I glanced outside and saw the night sky. I rushed for my camera !
Outside it was dark and freezing. As I began to line up the shot I realised that I did not know enough about my camera or taking night shots to make a real effort on reproducing what I saw. However, I was so delighted to see two planets at once that I thought I could try ... this is the result...... not a great photo but a great moment in my time.
