Dentist

H had a dental appointment with the Childsmile lady this morning. The last time we went to the actual dentist, she wasn't very keen and when he put his rubber gloved hand in her mouth, she gave him a wee nip! Oops. I think he's washed his hands of her! The Childsmile lady was very good - she just showed H the special chair and let her play with the buttons, moving it up and down. She also explained that Peppa and George had been in that morning and sat on the chair, and H was happy to have a turn sitting on it herself.
She didn't really look in her mouth, just chatted a bit and said to come back in 2 months and keep getting her used to coming there without thinking that anything would happen. So 2 stickers, a toothbrush and tube of toothpaste heavier, we left happily.

On the way home, we popped to the post office and H spotted an In The Night Garden magazine with a free xylophone - I bought it for her for being a good girl at the dentists and because she was going away to stay at Gran and Papa's overnight.

Dropped H at my parents after lunch and then went home to make dinner. At around 9.30pm, I seemed to be getting regular contractions so got my hopes up slightly.....time to finish packing that hospital bag I think.
