Spring Chicken

I haven't taken part in weekly blip competition for a while but I'm hoping a change to our weekend routine will allow more time for taking pictures.

The theme I'm returning on is "Spring" and I found this willing subject when we stopped at a farm shop near Cupar. The phrase that came to mind was "Spring Chicken" and I thought I would add some extra information about the origin of the phrase. That was until I googled and found results ranging from a young woman who should know better to eating a chicken in its prime so I'll leave anyone interested to carry out a search and choose the one you like.
