on île Saint-Louis

We went for a walk on île Saint-Louis this afternoon. J bought some wine in this shop just facing the very ornate Hôtel de Chenizot (51, rue Saint-Louis-en-l'île). We went for tea and cake afterwards to La Charlotte de l'isle (24, rue Saint-Louis-en-l'ile), a very cute spot that I've been wanting to try.

J did an epic run this morning, covering all 20 arrondissements! He really enjoyed it and was pleased with how it went.

The girls packed their school bags and went to bed early tonight. It's back to school tomorrow, after a wonderful holiday for all of us.
