Wet

Jo and I after the 10k race we did this morning. It was a 2 lap course in Bushy Park. A nice route despite the rain and chilly wind on 1 section. Oh and the slippy mud on 2 sections.
I did it in 53:50 which I thought was a pb until I got home and looked at my previous times and discovered it wasn't. I was still more than happy with the time though & hadn't been trying for a pb.
Jo was amazing though, she'd never run a 'proper' race before and has only just worked up to running that far. She hoped to just get round it today & then planned a sub hr time at her next race. But she did it in 59:06 and was so happy at the end she nearly cried!
I of course am taking full credit as I made her do some fartlek training last week :-)

PS. I'm the bright pink one.
PPS. I hate pink.
