Loch Achray from......

......... Trossachs Church.

It was a day of missed opportunities.

We had bright sunshine today, the first day without rain in yonks.

I spent it building Ikea furniture and looking longingly out of the window. Trees needed pruned in the garden, bird feeders needed replenished, blips needed to be taken!

As with all things Ikea it took longer than anticipated and by the time I surfaced for air it was late afternoon and panic set in.

A mad dash to Trossachs Church on Loch Achray to bag a blip.

The bright sunshine had gone and mist was settling over the loch. It was bitter cold. I did what I could with what I had and returned home.

Later on as the sun was going down I set off to the lochside again hoping to catch the wonderful sunset. I got caught up in the temporary traffic system on Callander mainstreet and by the time I reached the loch I had missed it.

So here it is - the view of Loch Achray from Trossachs Church!
