Mixin' it up!

On the way back from the wedding ( see y'days blip ), Sav pulled into the car park outside of Currys. He's been talking about this Kenwood mixer for a while now, but as we have limited space in the kitchen ( not to mention limited finances since I quit my job! ) I'd resisted ... but cracked today!

I let Sav christen it, making one of his famous Victoria sponges to take to Newton Abbott with him tomorrow ... not before I've had a piece with my cup of tea as soon as I've finished here!

Hope you've all had a good w/e and are raring to go ... hang on, Countryfile weather report ... hmm, well at least the south east will be getting " useful rain ", and so will we here in the south west mid week, just a pity it's going to be rather chilly.
