Learning day by day

Rain, rain and more rain

What a miserably wet and cold day. Not what you want to see when you open the curtains at 06.45, realising your four year old has definately got out of the wrong side of bed. It looked like it was going to be a very long day.

But things improved (if not the weather). Daddy got a bit of a lie in and the kids were both great at Church. Got home and it was still raining. Early lunch and the plan was soft play, Mummy rang them though, not wanting to get turned away at the door. Good job, they were rammed and not allowing anyone else in. Both kids were hyper, Mummy was tired, genius idea, Daddy needed to get some wood form Poppa, he could take the kids with him. Cue Mummy having a lunchtime nap. Lush, so long as I can go to sleep tonight.

On their return games were played in the conservatory, including the kids making a tent from the red blanket and hiding from Daddy bear who wanted to eat them. Will didn't get the idea and kept throwing himself at Daddy for 'Cuggles'.

Reasonable bedtime for both of them and I'm off to do the ironing. See you tomorrow Blippers.

PS. Jim went for a run to use his new watch today. He is yet to download any info on the computer, but is already sounding like a geek, getting all excited about a 'change of pace when running down hill'. I'm wondering if it will turn him into a running monster and I will have to watch my back!
