2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th.....

alterations to this wee painting! How i love working with oil.....if you don't like a bit..no problem, scrape it off and change it! i've never done that before !!!! After a nice bit of feedback from another blipper,Stephanie and lots of standing back, changing this and that....i think i'll stop here for now! I really get that idea of 'how to know when to stop'.....it's a very tricky thing! but i'm enjoying the explorations hugely! But having spent the whole morning on this, and a big chunk of last night....i need to get over to the studio to do some 'real' work, like trim all the bowls i made the other day.

We had a lot of rain over night, and of course it froze later into the night...now we have a great skating rink which used to be a parking lot! a couple of guests needed to leave....that caused some interesting problems. But glad to say, everyone is doing just fine now, thanks to Terry and his trusty snowplow with chains on!!!
