Rishton Baptist Church.
This is where I go on a Sunday for our Christian Fellowship service.
Philip was giving an inspiring word this morning about developing patience as a fruit of the Holy Spirit. He said God knows all our needs, because God is Omnipresent.
We need to have patience to wait for God's Divine Plan to unfold in God's special Divine timing. We can decide to be cheerful while we wait, or the opposite, but that can make others unhappy too. I am mostly optimistic and practise being positive about life's many trials and I am still waiting for the boiler to be fixed! On the plus side it is sunny and cold here.
Thank God for gas fires, fan heaters and hot chocolate with pink and white marshmallows.
Singing lively hymns and choruses with our fellowship felt wonderful and uplifting.
I enjoy singing and was in the school choir.
We sang at Fairfield Halls in Croydon .
A fond memory.
