Hi folks

One of the requests we regularly receive here at Blipcentral is to help organise meetings between Blipfoto contributors.

We always do what we can (and think it's great that so many of you want to meet In Real Life), but it's difficult for us to get too involved for a couple of simple reasons. First off, there can be a lot of work involved just putting people in touch with each other and, secondly, we really can't take any responsibility for anything which isn't an official Blipfoto event.

So, we've knocked our heads together and agreed the best way to help you hook up with each other is to add a new section to the forums. Perhaps unsurprisingly, it's called 'Blipfoto meet-ups' and you can find it here. If you want to try and arrange a meeting in your area, or see if something's happening near you, mosey on over.

But... (you should know by now there's always a 'but'...) please bear in mind that any events arranged through the forums are not controlled or condoned by Blipfoto in any way, you meet entirely at your own risk. Also, please be sensible about where you arrange to meet up - make sure it's always somewhere public (and be prepared for everyone being uglier than you thought they'd be).
