Chief Joseph (Nez Perce Tribe) 1879

This plaque stands in the park next to Bob's school. It is a rather industrial, rough neighborhood. The park is historically significant and a beautiful renovation has just been completed. We have watched with anticipation as the renovation progressed, as the wait for the chain link fence to come down and the playground to open seemed interminable.

Alas, the park is open. And it is beautiful. It is great to see kids playing here. I am sure more pictures of this special place will follow.
