Lost yesterday; never to be recovered.

Went over to the White Mountain Symphony concert in Snowflake this evening. What a delightfully mixed bag: Bach, Strauss (which one? Richard), Dvorak, Franz von Suppé, Mozart and Brahms.

I was very impressed with the young flautist, Joshua Barnes, who played Malcolm Arnold's Concerto No. 1 for Flute and strings from memory.
