I took a walk down the Douglas Park gorge to have alook at the state of the Nepean river. As you can see it was well over the causeway. Not the highest I have seen it. I did see it almost up to the first bend in the road some years ago. I was amazed to see the number of drivers that ignored the road closed, flooded river sign at the top, only to have to turn round and come back!
The little sandy beach on the other side is completely covered.
