Starting Young

Up to Dundee today for L's sister's birthday. This is L's great niece, H, getting to grips with a laptop. They do start young with IT these days, don't they? Drove there through Fife and interesting that I saw eight Buzzards and just two Kestrels. When I was a child, seeing a Buzzard would have been something of note on such a journey, while surely Kestrels would have been more numerous. Hardly a scientific survey, but maybe a reflection on a change in birds of prey numbers in eastern Scotland.
