Going Solo.....

It was a beautiful sunny day and my morning stoll through the market was soundtracked with Nina Simone's 'My Baby Just Cares For Me'.

There was a huge dog trying to climb into a child's moses basket (the baby was not in it) and I bought an old wedding album, still full of black and white photos of someone's special day. As I flicked through it, I felt sad that these once treasured images were nolonger cherished by anyone.

So we bought it; we thought we would treasure it instead!

On the way home I spotted this lonesone berry on the tree, all the others must've been eaten by the birds and all the leaves were gone too. But I really liked how the single dot of red really stood out!

There lurks, perhaps, in every human heart a desire of distinction, which inclines every man first to hope, and then to believe, that Nature has given him something peculiar to himself.
