Burn
Mossy and drippy tree over the Calair Burn, at the end of a dead end road that runs south from Balquhidder. I like it biggified.
From there we went over slightly soggy ground and a couple of burns (and a river which had a bridge - the book said there wasn't one so we were all prepared for a crossing of unknown depth and width - and it wasn't even a new bridge, in fact it was as decrepit as some of us). And up a hill called Stob Fear-thomhais (it doesn't seem to know what it's called but that's what the book calls it).
Started out in the usual low cloud and rain but it cleared when we got to the top and coming down we had some blue sky, showers and a rainbow.
I'd left my camera in the car when it was so dreich at the start. Didn't regret it either, but as soon as we got back I took a couple of pics.
