A real lot of fun was had by everybody at school today and tonight!

This was a fundraiser event, we are starting sevens rugby at school and need to raise the funds for the rugby posts, which are quite costly! The 'Class moms' decided on family camp out and 'potjiekos' competition. Great fun to watch all the different class grades competing for the lovely trophy. The preparation of the 'Potjies' started round about 14:00, and was to be ready for judging by 19:00, all entries were prepared with so much dedication and flair, it was a real tough call to judge them and decide on a winner! The Gr8 (LSL) class parents made a dish to die for and they were awarded the first place and the trophy was handed to them! Congratulations to all involved, it tasted divine!

Parents and children were only charged for the food, they could camp on the football fields for free as long as they brought their own tents. R sr and Tony, a GCSE 2 student who always assists R, set up the sound system early afternoon as well and the music was very entertaining, everybody loved the atmosphere.

After supper the programme ran as follows:

20:30- 22:00 Family Entertainment : MCS Olympic Games - House teams

Battle of sexes reaction speed
Tug of war
Wheelbarrow race
Fireman's race
Egg and Soon race
Balloon's race
Mummy competition
Zumba fun
Announce winners
MCS Camp stories
Bedtime

It was an absolutely huge success, everybody loved it!

Raised more than half the money for the rugby posts! Woohoo!
